Thoughts While ShavingOkay, you wanted snow.  What you see is all you are likely to receive this week in eastern North Carolina.  However, we will have cold, windy weather for a few more days.

Over the years, some local farmers wanted a time of very cold weather to kill the insects.  My thoughts, mission accomplished.  Looking forward to early next week when temperatures are expected to return to more normal levels, like 50s.

Weather has caused disruptions, especially to the local school systems.  They are closed today, county government will be operating on a 2-hour delay.  May want to call ahead before getting on our roadways, regardless of your destination.

Be aware of black ice on roadways.
