Thoughts While Shaving

So many activities going on, too many to keep up with, but will attempt.

Bladen County Schools Kindergarten registration is underway.  Dates and locations are on the school website.  A bus driver training class is also planned.  Lots of news on the site, always.  Just GOOGLE Bladen County Schools.

Filing deadline for taxes is Tuesday, Just a reminder from Uncle Sam.

Bladen We Care Gala/Dance at The Venue, White Lake is set for next Friday evening.  Blackwater Rhythm & Blues Band returns to provide the music.  Tickets still available, $50 each, and the Annual BWC Golf Tournament is planned for Thursday, April 26 at The Vineyard Golf Course, White Lake.  $125 per player.  Bring your team, or individuals will be paired with others.

BladenOnline staffers have had a busy week, too much bad activity, vehicular accidents causing at least 4 deaths and a young man is unaccounted for following an outing at Singletary Lake.  He was visiting with a church group from Fayetteville.  Sheriff’s department made numerous arrest, to many drug related, and on and on.  Expect some near record numbers for BladenOnline this week, far to much bad news.

MacKenzie Gore, former Whiteville HS Wolfpack baseball player and the San Diego Padres first round draft pick in last years draft, was placed on the disable list late yesterday with blisters on his hand.  Hopefully he will soon be back on the field for the Fort Wayne Tincaps, a Padre minor league team.

Remember your Junior/Senior Prom?  For me, barely.  Do remember it was fun.

Remember when castor oil was the cure for every ailment?  I know it is the truth, cause my mom said so.

From the Profound Philosophy Department, shared by a friend:

If I am ever on life support, unplug me…Then plug me back in…See it that works.

Sign:  The HOKEY POKEY Clinic.  A place to turn yourself around.

The next time you get a call from a blocked or unknown number….Answer it and whisper…”It’s done, but there’s blood everywhere”.  Then hang up.
