Happy Easter Day…
Remember as a youngster hearing the Easter story of Jesus hanging on a cross. Never gets old.
We celebrate with Cantatas and other forms of worship. Youngsters enjoy Easter Egg Hunts, a tradition that reportedly dates back to the late 16th century, when the Protestant reformer Martin Luther organized egg hunts for his congregation. According to some reports, the men would hide the eggs for women and children to find. This was a nod to the story of the resurrection, in which the empty tomb was discovered by women.

Some celebrate the holiday on Good Friday, others on Easter Monday. Either way, it is welcomed by those who enjoy a day off.
