Today’s forecast … near perfect if you like sunshine and warm temps … Partly sunny with a high near 80, calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 8 mph. Tonight, increasing clouds, with a low around 63.

Changes coming Thursday … Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 75, windy, gusts as high as 30 mph, chance of precipitation is 90%. Same type weather Thursday night … Come Friday, sunny with a high near 72 and breezy.

Weekend weather … looking good, lots of sunshine and temps in the 70s and 80s.

A reminder of the Shriners Fish Fry in the Food Lion parking lot today … Plates with fish and the trimmings for $10 each … Begin serving before noon and continue throughout the afternoon … as long as the fish last…
