Thoughts While ShavingIt’s the most wonderful time of the year, for many … for others … very difficult times … 19 degrees at 4 a.m. today, no doubt even colder prior to sunrise … We all need to reach out, check on our neighbors and friends…

Sunny today, with a high near 32, wind chill values as low as 5 degrees and winds around 10 mph, with gusts as high as 17 mph. Tonight, clear skies with lows near 18. Christmas Day … sunny with a high near 39 and windy.

Looking ahead, sunny Monday with a high near 44, high Tuesday near 47 and 53 Wednesday … Low tonight near 18 and 19 degrees Sunday night … Prayers are important, but help is needed by many … now…

Hope you are prepared for old St. Nick … Last minute shoppers likely to meet many friends at local outlets…

Remember how excited you were as a youngster?

We were surprised over the past couple of days … Two pretty young ladies who lived next door several years ago came visiting … We enjoyed it, hopefully they did as well. Now living in Texas, they have kin in the Fayetteville area … They will be flying back home tomorrow, Christmas Day … They included us as part of their extended family…

A reminder of church services tomorrow…

Senior citizens still get excited at Christmas time…

A reminder of college football bowl games, daily…
