Among them is NC Rep. Patrick McHenry (R) and his loss may be among the most noticeable … He is considered a deal-maker in the US House. He has 20 plus years in Congress … from the NC Piedmont area.
The current makeup in Congress … A small Republican majority in the US House and a small Democrat majority in the Senate … D’s majority includes a couple of unaffiliated that caucus with Democrats…
