The wheels of justice turn slow, sometimes … Bladenboro’s Trooper Kevin Conner was gunned down while on duty in Columbus County, mid October, 2018. A Columbus County resident pleaded guilty in a Brunswick County courtroom Monday, and will be sentenced Thursday. The guilty plea assures the shooter that the death penalty is ‘off the table’ … He can be sentenced to prison, without parole…
