The 4th of July fireworks has been canceled, and the annual meeting of the chamber has been postponed until January 2021.

Churches throughout the area still operating, but most have adjusted for the virus issue. … Thank goodness for alternative forms of spreading the gospel…

School systems still making plans for the 2020-21 school year.

Unusual to see Dixie Youth ballparks with no activity this time of the year…

Weather forecast … A chance of showers and and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m today. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. 30% chance of rain with new rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Similar forecast for tonight.
