Bladen County Commissioners have a couple of meetings today.  A Special Meeting related to the FY 2018-19 budget is scheduled for 4 PM, followed by regular meeting at 6:30 PM, both to be held in Commissioner’s meeting room, lower level, BC courthouse.

Towns in Bladen County are busy as well, completing work on budgets.  All must be approved by the end of June.

Rain was in the forecast for Bladen County area overnight, however, none reported at the National Weather Service site at Curtis Brown Airport, as of early Monday AM.  Sunrise today at 6:02 AM, sunset at 8:24 PM.  High today expected to be near 88 degrees.

A reminder related to the Annual Elizabethtown Chamber Banquet and Program being held Tuesday, June 19 at Lu Mil Vineyard.  Guest Speaker will be Kenny Flowers, Assistant Secretary Rural Economic Development, NC Chamber of Commerce.  Tickets are $25 per person.  RSVP by June 17th at the Chamber office or call 862-4368 or 874-0285.
