I enjoy Christmas shows in Myrtle Beach … kinda gets me in the holiday spirit … and our first Christmas Card received helps…
Remember the excitement that surrounded Christmas as a youngster … tangerine or orange, apples, Mary Jane penny candy, a few Kits, nuts and an inexpensive toy or two … sometimes a homemade ball from twine left over from stringing tobacco … sometimes a new homemade shirt from a printed bag of chicken or hog feed … But, it was Christmas, celebrating the birth of Jesus … and that was special … Mama said so.
