Greigh Butler placed fourth in his first division race and sixth in his second division race last weekend at Dreamville MX in Raeford.
“Needless to say, it made for a very long weekend of racing,” said Greigh’s father, Josh Butler, “but he enjoyed it and we placed well. Speedy G said these kids were very fast and it only motivated him to ride faster so that he could compete and come home with a win.”
The nine-year-old Elizabethtown resident competes in the 65cc division.
The results last weekend gave Butler three wins during the fall season to go along with a second-place finish, a pair of fourth-place finishes and three sixth-place finishes.
Butler is scheduled to close his fall season Dec. 11-12 at JWTF MX Park in Maysville.
Butler is sponsored by Leinwand’s, Coaches Golf Cart, Pro Line Equipment, Ryan Godwin-Hilton Realty, Cape Fear Winery, Cape Fear Distillery, JOSEPH d Salon, Taylor’s Lawn Services, San Jose restaurant of Elizabethtown, Bladen Online and United Pro Arc Corp. of Taiwan.
