Request: Rezone a parcel of land, identified by Bladen County PIN # 1321.05.09.0072, from C-1 General Commercial to R-10 High-Density Residential.
All interested citizens are invited to join the meeting. The October 5, 2020 Town Council meeting will be a Virtual Meeting; therefore, please check the Town’s website (www.elizabethtownnc.org) on October 5, 2020 for instructions to join the Zoom Meeting. Citizens desiring to speak on the rezoning request must submit written comments by addressing them to the Town Clerk Juanita Hester and placing them in the Town’s drive-thru drop-box at 805 W. Broad Street. Written comments for the Public Hearing may be submitted at any time between the Notice of Public Hearing, which is Friday, September 25, 2020, and 24 hours after the public hearing has ended. Town Council will not be able to act on the public hearing matter immediately following the public hearing. Therefore, Town Council will recess the meeting until a later date to act on remaining agenda items. Changes may be made in the advertised proposal that reflect information presented at the hearing.
