In order to meet the requirements of the Governor’s orders concerning mass gatherings of ten or more, protect the most vulnerable members of our community and our employees from the Coronavirus and slow the spread of the virus after careful consideration, Mayor H. Goldston Womble, Jr. and the Planning Board Chairwoman Joy Warren have have directed staff to cancel the Town of White Lake Planning Board meeting scheduled for Thursday, August 20, 2020.
We are continuously monitoring this situation and will issue new guidance if and when that is warranted.
