With all NCAA Division II spring sports being cancelled due to the coronavirus, Tar Heel native Trevor Lesane has completed his senior season at Erskine with a .272 batting average.

Lesane started 23 games and played in 25 games for the Flying Fleet who finished in 4th place in the Conference Carolinas with a 6-3 record and were 17-8-1 overall. The Flying Fleet were on a 6-game winning streak when play was stopped.

In his 25 games this season, Lesane scored 22 runs, drove in 20 and slugged 7 doubles and a home run. The West Bladen grad posted a .395 slugging percentage and .362 on-base percentage.

Lesane would have another year of eligibility if he chooses to play, since the Division II administrative committee recently announced that this season’s senior spring sports athletes would get an extra year of eligibility because of the cancellation.
