Will Walters, playing out of Vineyard Golf At White Lake, missed the cut in the recently played Dogwood Junior State Tournament played at Bent Winds Country Club in Fuquary Varina.
Walters had three good nines and one not-so-good nine. On Tuesday, Walters shot 37-44=81. On Wednesday, he shot 38-37=75, thus missing the cut by 5 strokes.
Leading the CGA tournament after 36 holes was Alex Bock of Morganton with 68 on Tuesday and 70 on Wednesday.
