Maddie Walters fired in 12 service points, knocked in 5 kills and had 3 digs and an ace for West. Walters and sophomore Karly Ross were both brought up from the jayvee squad because 2 varsity players were out. Ross led the defense with 10 digs and added 2 service points and an assist.

“They (Walters and Ross) actually played 8 sets tonight,” said Lady Knights Coach Gaye Davis. “Our girls actually played well. Our girls are young, but I am pleased with the hard work and fighting spirit. You can’t always judge a game by the score.”
