FAIRMONT – Fairmont defeated West Bladen 3-1 on Tuesday night in Three Rivers Conference volleyball action by set scores of 21-25, 25-13, 25-23 and 25-21.
Senior Mikayla Meadows pounded in 17 kills, 6 service points, 2 solo blocks and had 5 digs for the Lady Knights. Senior Lexi Corrothers hammered in 5 kills, 9 service points and a solo block.
Junior Sidnee Walters slammed in 7 kills, 4 aces, 7 service points and was credited with 7 assists and a dig for West Bladen. Junior Ashlyn Cox dished out 6 assists and added 3 service points, 2 aces and a dig.
Junior Amelia Brisson drilled in 6 service points, 2 kills, an ace and had 4 digs and an assist for the Lady Knights. Senior Jordan Benson totaled 10 digs, and junior Shelby Pharr tallied 4 service points.
West Bladen, now 5-4 in the league and 7-4 overall, will host Red Springs on Thursday night.
