ROCKY POINT – Wallace-Rose Hill’s Boys and Pender’s Girls took the team titles Thursday in the final Four County Conference track meet of the regular season at Heide Trask.
The Wallace boys won their meet with 105.5 points followed by Trask with 93 points. East Bladen’s boys took third-place with 63 points and Pender was third with 48.5 points. West Bladen’s boys totaled 40 points.
The Pender girls racked up 194 points followed by Wallace-Rose Hill with 44 points and Heide Trask with 36 points. East Bladen finished fourth with 31 points, and West Bladen totaled 23 points.
East Bladen’s Atlas Goss won the boys discus with a throw of 141 feet, 4 inches. Eian Hines was the other first-place winner for the Eagles with a boys long jump leap of 21 feet, 3.5 inches.
West Bladen’s John Bowen took first place in the boys high jump with a leap of 5 foot, 6 inches.
