West Bladen’s Knights will play in a pair of preseason football scrimmages next week. On Wednesday, August 9th the Knights will participate in the Lumberton Jamboree at Alton G. Brooks Stadium.
The Knight junior varsity will kick off the jamboree at 5 p.m. against the Lumberton junior varsity. At 7 p.m. Coach Stanley Williams’ West Bladen varsity will scrimmage Purnell Swett.
The 6 p.m. game in Lumberton will match Fairmont against Heide Trask. Lumberton and E. E. Smith will close out the jamboree at 8 p.m.
On Friday August 11th at 7 p.m. West Bladen will scrimmage Hobbton in the Sampson Jamboree at Clinton High School. Hobbton posted a 10-3 record last season and is coached by former Knight Coach Joe Salas.

5 p.m. Union vs. Lejeune
6 p.m. Fairmont vs. Lakewood
7 p.m. West Bladen vs. Hobbton
8 p.m. Midway vs. Lumberton
9 p.m. Clinton vs. West Columbus
