After over 50 years of golf Pam Davis Taylor had a hole in one Sunday on No. 12 at Vineyard Golf At White Lake.
Taylor, one of eastern North Carolina’s better and best liked golfers, finally accomplished a feat that has been dodging her for close to a half century. Pam, who shoots in the low 70s, finally captured the elusive ace. Playing with her at the time was Kent Fisher, Jeff Pope, Billy Augustine and Jessica Smith.
When ask about her ace she stated “I have had probably 200 shots to miss by an inch or two but never stayed in the hole. So happy to finally make one.”
