The Elizabethtown – White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce announced that Yia Yia’s Gifts & More won the 2021 Storefront Decorating Contest for downtown Elizabethtown businesses. A panel of independent judges chose the winner. The annual contest recognizes downtown businesses for helping to decorate the shopping district. According to Terri Dennison with the Chamber, it was a tight contest with many attractive storefronts this year.

The chamber also announced the Christmas Tree Decorating Contest first-place winner, Yandle & Sons Small Engine Repair. The second-place winner was the Barefoot Brew & Barefoot Sandwich Shoppe, and the third-place winner went to the Town of Elizabethtown’s Finance Department. The Elizabethtown – White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce thanks all who decorated a tree and helped the Farmers Market look festive. The contest raised $230 for the Empty Stocking Fund.

This Saturday, vendors will be on-site at the Cape Fear Farmer’s Market located on MLK Drive in Elizabethtown for holiday shopping and dining.
