Winter has its icy grip firmly in place as this weekend’s sub-freezing temperatures can attest.
After dodging a bullet on Friday, Bladen County folks are again faced with the potential for a wintry mix on Monday morning potentially making the morning commute treacherous.
According to Terrence Lebo, of the National Weather Service office in Wilmington, said that the forecast is favorable for ice accumulation beginning at about 5 a.m. Monday.
Any freezing rain will change to rain around noon Monday.
