Here are three things to know for Thursday, April 27:

1. Plant Sale: Friday, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m., West Bladen High School. Prices $2 to $8. Proceeds go to the West Bladen Agriculture department. (READ MORE)

2. Fishing: Saturday, 10 a.m., Jones Lake State Park, 4117 NC 242 North, Elizabethtown. Fishing equipment and bait will be provided if needed. A valid North Carolina Inland fishing license is required for those individuals ages 16+.
