The 31st annual Bladen We Care Gala will be held Friday, March 27th at Cape Fear Vineyard. This year’s theme is “Glow Party”.

Ms. Chloe Campbell, one of the event organizers explained the theme means people in attendance will get neon necklaces at the door and there will be a lot of different lights for the making of a fun and festive time. Instead of a band this year, DJ, Brian out of Clinton will provide the entertainment, Chloe added.

There will be a silent auction during the gala to help raise funds as well. Bladen We Care assists more than 200 families in need in Bladen County each year for over 30 years and has raised $2.5 million, according to board member Mr. Mac Campbell. The group has also awarded scholarships at Bladen Community College and UNC-Pembroke.
