Absentee ballots are slowly trickling in to the Bladen County Board of Elections office. On Thursday, Feb. 18, the Bladen County Board of Elections has mailed out 495 absentee ballots for the March 15 primary elections. The last day that folks can request an absentee ballot by mail is March 8 by 5 p.m.
As of Thursday morning, the Board of Elections had received 89 absentee ballots.
Bladen County Board of Elections Director Cynthia Shaw said absentee ballots need to be postmarked no later than March 15.
