Bladen’s Bloomin Agri-Industrial (BBAI) is constantly seeking opportunities that will enhance the Bladen County area, including incubator space, primarily for small businesses.

One of the latest possibilities is to develop the old Elizabethtown Post Office on East Broad Street into an incubator rental space.

The possibilities are endless — could be a small start-up or an expanding business.  Leases could be as short as a few months or as long as two or three years.

The business could be anything from an architect to an administrative assistant, from a bookkeeper to a business consultant, maybe a small contractor to a coffee shoppe, or maybe a tutoring or a tech company.

If you have an idea or a passion for a small commercial venture, and you just need quality, cost-efficient space, contact BBAI.  Their number is 910-645-2292.

Identifying potential clients will strengthen the grant application and funding is competitive on a statewide basis.

BBAI, a non-profit economic development group would like to have a significant amount of these funds invested in Bladen County.

The target date for having space available would be January 1, 2017, depending on the process.
