A Bladen County 10-Under Girls basketball team reached the semi-finals of a 10U tournament in Winston-Salem Sunday. The Bladen team finished third in Saturday’s Pool Play, but was eliminated in Sunday’s semi-finals.
Alexus Mitchell poured in 65 points in five games to lead the Bladen scoring. Teammate Annagrey Heustess tossed in 22 points, and Lainey Autry fired in 18 points.
Karli Priest and Zoe Smith added 4 points each for the Bladen team, and Lainey Hughes scored 2 points. Latosha Melvin was also on the Bladen team.
