SNEADS FERRY – Bladen County’s Recreation Basketball 10U Boys All-Stars will open play in the State-Wide Activities Committee’s 10U Boys Basketball Sectional Saturday at 9:10 a.m. against the Tarboro All-Stars at Dixon Middle School.
Dixon Middle School is located at 118 Ridge Field Ave. in Sneads Ferry. Admission is $5 for 13-&-Up: $2 for 12-&-Under. The championship game in the 10-team, double-elimination event is slated for noon Sunday.
If Bladen County wins Saturday morning, it will play again at 2:45 p.m. Saturday. If it loses at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, Bladen will play again at 1:40 p.m. Saturday.
Members of the Bladen 10U Boys All-Stars are: Dayquan Williams, Daveon Whittington, John High, Jr., Johnnie Adams, Jayden McKoy, Damian Maynor, Lyrik Lawson, Jayden Ruffin and Larry Daniels III. The 10U Boys All-Stars are coached by Wilson Bolden.
