JACKSONVILLE – Bladen County’s Recreation Basketball 12U Girls All-Stars will open play in the State-Wide Activities Committee’s 12U Girls Basketball Sectional Saturday at 8 a.m. against the Carteret County All-Stars at Southwest Middle School.
Southwest Middle School is located at 3000 Furia Dr. in Jacksonville. Admission is $5 for 13-&-Up: $2 for 12-&-Under. The championship game in the 5-team, double-elimination event is slated for 11 a.m. Sunday.
If Bladen County wins Saturday morning, it will play at noon Saturday. If it loses at 8 a.m. Saturday, Bladen will play again at 10:40 a.m. Saturday.
Members of the Bladen 12U Girls All-Stars are: Harmony Richardson, Aaliyah Monroe, Zirrihana White, Anna Robinson, Sana’a Singletary, Abigail Dew, Hadley Dove, Zariyah Riddy, Keira Dowless and Aiden Fisher. The 12U Girls All-Stars are coached by Whitney Lee.
