FUQUAY-VARINA – The Bladen County 10-and-Under Girls All-Stars will open play Saturday in the State-Wide Activities Committee (SWAC) state soccer tournament at Fleming Park. The park is located at 503 Fleming Loop Road in Fuquay-Varina.
Bladen County opens play at 10:30 a.m. Saturday against the Nash County Strikers. At 1:30 p.m. Saturday Bladen County will play host Fuquay-Varina. Sunday at 11 a.m. Bladen County will battle the Nash County Comets. The top 2 finishers from round-robin play advance to the championship game at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Coaches for the Bladen 10U Girls All-Stars are Dom Whittington, Jerry Campbell and Jay Hall. Team members are: Elizabeth Miller, Kenley Brisson, Katherine Thomas, Khloe Campbell, Jeniyah Whittington, Zoe Hall, Adyson Carroll, Racquel Whittington, Carley Rhodes, Jamison Raynor, Armani McMillian and Kaylee Fisher.
