WILMINGTON – Bladen County’s Recreation Basketball 12U Boys All-Stars will open play in the State-Wide Activities Committee’s 12U Basketball Sectional Tournament Friday at 6 p.m. against the Wilmington All-Stars at the Derek G.S. Davis Center.
The Davis Center is located at 1101 Manley Ave. in Wilmington. Admission is $2 for the day; $5 for the weekend. The championship game in the 7-team, double-elimination event is slated for 11:30 a.m. Sunday.
If Bladen County wins Friday night, it plays at 10 a.m. Saturday. If it loses Friday, Bladen will play at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Members of the Bladen 12U Boys All-Stars are: Braylon Johnson, Ronnie Labra, Javonte’ Smith, Henry Simmons, Fox Sutton, Cyncere Jessup, Jameel McKiver, Levi Velasco and Mark’kus Bass. Clint Allen is the coach.
