SWANSBORO – Bladen County’s Recreation Basketball 10U Girls All-Stars will open play in the State-Wide Activities Committee’s 10U Girls Basketball Sectional Friday at 7:10 p.m. against the Fuquay-Varina All-Stars at Swansboro Middle School.
Swansboro Middle School is located at 1240 W Corbett Ave. in Swansboro. Admission is $5 for 13-&-Up: $2 for 12-&-Under. The championship game in the 5-team, double-elimination event is slated for 11 a.m. Sunday.
If Bladen County wins Friday night, it will play at 9:20 a.m. Saturday. If it loses Friday, Bladen will play at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
Members of the Bladen 10U Girls All-Stars are: Tinsley Allen, Kaydence Moretz, Racquel Whittington, Chyna Smith, Allyzon Sandoval, Elizabeth Miller, Armani McMillian, Jeniyah Whittington and Zoe Hall. The 10U Girls All-Stars are coached by Damiano Whittington.
