The Bladen County Recreation 14-and-Under boys’ soccer all-stars begin play Saturday in the Statewide Activities Committee (SWAC) state tournament in Rocky Mount. Bladen County will face Fuquay-Varina in their opener at 9 a.m. Saturday.

Five teams will compete in bracket play through Saturday with the championship game scheduled for 12 noon Sunday at the Rocky Mount Sports Complex at 600 Independence Drive.

Johnny Wilson is the head coach of the Bladen all-stars and will be assisted by Simon Lopez and Eric Sandoval. Team members are: JaDarius McArthur, Alejandro Lopez, Damian Sanchez, Jaylen Smith, Fox Sutton, Jason Velazquez, Ethan Garcia, Johnny Wilson III, Levi Velasco Garcia, Lakota Schmale, Salvador Gonzalez, Hayes Clifton, Keithan Russ, David Sanchez, Joshua Martinez and Cayden Smith.
