The Bladen County All-Stars lost to Wake Forest 29-21 Sunday afternoon in the State-Wide Activities Committee (SWAC) 12U Girls Basketball Sectional Tournament. Bladen County finished third in the tournament.
Maya McDonald poured in 15 points to lead the Bladen County scoring. Teammates Trinity Smith, Shy’Asis Ratliff, and Ron’Kira Lennon scored 2 points each.
Other members of the Bladen All-Stars were: Mariah Smith, AnnaGrey Heustess, Paris Chavis, Aaniya Jackson, Demeria Phillips, Alexus Mitchell, Hannah Davis and Maegan Burney.
