This week a 5-year-old male cat named Barley has been picked for Pet of the Week. He is very friendly and can also be shy at times. Barley has already been neutered and weighs a bit on the chunky side. He weighs 19 pounds and he needs to be on a diet when his new forever family adopts him. Puck, a 6-year-old neutered male, came in with Barley and weighs the same. He too is friendly and also shy like his friend. Both cats deserve a kind and loving family to adopt them and take them to their forever home. 
The cost to adopt a dog is $50 and $40 to adopt a cat which includes the animal’s first required shots. The adoption hours are Monday to Friday at 12 noon until 5 p.m. Donations of dog food, treats, toys, and cat litter are accepted by the shelter.
