September 11th, 2021, is the 20th Anniversary of a painful day in history, September 11th, 2001. A community gathering will be held at the Bladen County Courthouse lawn on the anniversary day. The memorial event will begin at 7 pm.
A tribute to emergency personnel will take place at the memorial.
This is a community gathering and patriotic service. All are welcome to attend and encouraged to bring a lawn chair.
The event is sponsored by Bladen County Commissioners and the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
Pastor Cameron McGill stated, “We are praying for a good turnout.”
