The new Bladen County Law Enforcement Center has taken shape on Smith Circle in Elizabethtown. The move-in date for the center is inching closer.
While there is no set date at the moment for the facility occupancy, that is not stopping show and tell tours. According to Captain Jeff Singletary with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, some Bladen County students and teachers were able to tour the new facility on Tuesday, May 30th.
Photos of the entry way, the magistrate’s office, staff offices, and the emergency call center were allowed, however photos of the new detention center, other wise referred to as the new jail, were not allowed.
