Bladen County’s three middle school football teams — Bladenboro, Clarkton School of Discovery and Tar Heel — participated in a Jamboree on Wednesday in preparation for season openers scheduled Tuesday, Sept. 20.
The first games have Bladenboro at South Columbus, Clarkton School of Discovery at West Columbus and Whiteville at Tar Heel. All games begin at 6 p.m.
Elizabethtown Middle is not fielding a team this season.
