Bladen Online’s Pet of the Week is Jack, who is a male unneutered pit bull around 4 years old. He is very sweet and has not shown aggression.
Jack seems to be good with other dogs. He is pretty laid back but does have a strong pull on a leash. He would need some manners, but he is very treat motivated. He would probably be a fast learner.
His adoption fee would be $30 this week with discounts at local vets for his neuter.

The Bladen County Animal Shelter has a variety of pets ready for adoption. The cost to adopt a dog is $50. The cost to adopt a cat is $40. Both fees include the animal’s first required shots. People interested in adopting a pet should call the shelter at 910-862-6918 to make an appointment. The adoption hours are Monday through Friday from noon until 5 p.m.
The Bladen County Animal Shelter also accepts donations of dog food, treats, toys and cat litter.
