The Bladen Relay for Life chairwoman Mary Williams and the committee hosted survivors, teams, and participants at the 2018-2019 awards and wrap-up meeting on June 25 at the Bladen County Agriculture Extension Office in Elizabethtown.
The meeting was held to celebrate cancer survivors and the many donors and sponsors which made the 2018-2019 Relay such a success.

Dr. Lisa Bryan welcomed the guests and thanked everyone for their support of Relay. Rev. Sherry Harvey gave the opening prayer and blessing. A light meal was served.
Williams presented the awards to the teams and the sponsors. The Relay will officially wrap-up in August. Donations for the current year will accepted until that time.
The Bladen Relay for Life committee would like to thank all the sponsors and donors to this year’s campaign, along with BladenOnline.com and The Bladen Journal for promoting and covering the event.
The 2019-2020 Relay year will begin in October.
