LUMBERTON – Lumberton knocked in 4 1st half goals enroute to a 6-1 non-conference boys’ soccer victory over West Bladen Tuesday night.
Sophomore Jonah Bryan fired in the Knight goal in the 2nd half. Junior Kevyn De La Cruz had 2 shots for West, and Bryan, sophomore Jonathan Ortiz-Hernandez, senior Ricardo Rodriguez Gonzalez and freshman Alejandro Lopez-Sandoval had 1 shot each.
Senior Oswaldo Gonzalez-Lopez was credited with 5 saves in goal for the Knights, and junior Cade Allen had 1 save.
The Knights, now 2-8, are slated to host East Bladen Thursday night.
