LELAND – North Brunswick juniors Kevin Manzanares and Vance Wheeler scored 2nd half goals to lift the Scorpions to a 2-0 non-conference boys’ soccer victory over West Bladen Tuesday night.
Senior Michael McDermott and sophomore Holland Miller were credited with assists as the Scorpions improved to 5-1 on the season. Junior Dominic Ovsak recorded the shutout in goal for North and was credited with 2 saves.
In a preliminary game, the West Bladen jayvees defeated the North Brunswick jayvees 6-0.
The Knights, now 3-2, will host East Columbus Thursday at 6 p.m.
