AUBURN, AL – Former West Bladen star Brandon Council has anchored the Auburn offensive line as the Tigers have rolled to victories in their first two games of the season.
Last week the Tigers pounded Council’s former team, the Akron Zips, 60-10. Saturday, Auburn shutout Alabama State 62-0. Council has started both games on the offensive line as the Tigers have averaged 576 yards of total offense and 61 points per game in the two wins.
Auburn hits the road next Saturday and travels to No. 11 Penn State for a 7:30 p.m. game that will be televised nationally on ABC from Beaver Stadium.
