Cade Hancock of Elizabethtown fired a brilliant 73 in the third round of the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship Tuesday.

This score puts Hancock in a tie for 32nd place. His three day total score was 228 (79-76-73). Low three day score total is 211.

The championship, played in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, featured over 150 junior boys, ages 16-18.

The final round will be played Wednesday. Hancock will be playing with two junior players from Puerto Rico. His starting time is 7:40 a.m.

Hancock is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hancock of Elizabethtown.
