Football season for all leagues has begun. At least football practices have started from the recreation league, all the way to the NFL and college teams. The Carolina Bengals are a local football team based in East Arcadia. The team is part of the Coastal Football Alliance, sharing a league with the RVA Tomahawks, Carolina Bears, and the Fayetteville Ducks.

The Bengals will kick off their season with a game against the Wilson 49ers this weekend.
One of the team coaches, Rick Witaker, said the players are ready and excited for the first game.
The game will kick off around 7 PM on August 7th at the Legion Stadium in Wilmington, NC. The game will not be postponed unless terrible weather, such as prolonged thunderstorms, occurs.
