The Carvers Creek Community is excited to announce its annual May Day Celebration, a tradition that brings together friends, families, and neighbors to welcome the joys of spring with a fun-filled day of activities and delicious food.

This year’s event will take place on May 4, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM and continuing until the last dance around the May Pole is complete. The festivities will be held at the Baltimore Center in the heart of the Carvers Creek Community, located at 2104 S Elwell Ferry Rd, Council, NC.

A highlight of the day, the community parade, is set to line up at Figure 9 Road at 10:00 AM sharp. The parade will commence an hour later, bringing a wave of color and music to the streets. Participants and onlookers can look forward to a vibrant display of local culture and community spirit.

In addition to the parade, the event promises a range of activities and special recognitions taking place at the center. These activities are perfect for all ages and are a great way to engage with the community while enjoying the spring weather.

Without good food, no celebration would be complete, and the Carvers Creek May Day will not disappoint. The event will serve mouth-watering fried chicken dinners and classic hot dogs, ensuring that attendees can refuel and keep the energy high throughout the day.

The afternoon will feature the traditional Wrapping of the May Pole, an event that not only symbolizes the season but also unites the community in a colorful display of cooperation and joy.

The Carvers Creek Community Annual May Day Celebration is more than just a day of fun; it is a day that encapsulates the spirit of community, the excitement of spring, and the pleasure of good company. All are welcome to join in the festivities and make this May Day one to remember!
