Biggest Loser Lauren and Vicki Clark from BladenboroVicki and Lauren Clark from Bladenboro succeeded in the NBC television show, The Biggest Loser, by losing a combined total weight of 128 pounds. Both have new experiences and tools to use in life to keep inspiring themselves and others.

Vicki thought she had made a terrible mistake when she first started on the ranch. However, she said, “This experience has added so much to my life I don’t even know where to start.”

Lauren wanted to become a better role model for her son, Caleb. “The whole purpose of me being here is to be a better mom for him,” Lauren said.

The mother-daughter team had their family at the finale supporting them in the audience. The two pointed out Lauren’s son, Caleb and Vicki’s husband John. 

Vicki weighed in on the finale with a huge smile on her face. She lost at total of 61 pounds for a total percentage of 25.74. Big cheers were heard for Vicki’s hard work.

One of the first at home contestants to weigh in, Lauren, took the lead over others by losing 67 pounds with a her total percentage being 28.63.

Lauren held the lead until Erin weighed in at 151 pounds. However, Luis won the $100,000 at home challenge by losing 139 pounds. When he started he weighed 308 pounds.

Many residents in Bladen County have commended Vicki and Lauren for being brave enough to go on the national television show.

Lauren announced on the show she will be participating in a Cross-Fit Open next week. Vicki will be hosting a “Healthy Living” class at Tar Heel Baptist Church on February 28th. Both have changed their lives since being on the show.
