The Bladen County Board of Commissioners will meet on Monday at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners meeting room in the Bladen County Courthouse.
The board is set to elect a new chairman and vice-chairman.
There will be a recognition of Marsha White for her retirement which was effective on December 1.
In the consent agenda the board will consider the scheduling a public hearing for January 4, 2016, at 6:30 p.m. for a Local Government Commissioner application, consider approving a human resources position reclassifications
Bladen County Sheriff Jim McVicker present a proposal to the board to establish two deputy sheriff positions to be assigned to Bladen Community College.
The board is also set to consider approving funding of priority items and completion of work regarding the Public Safety Training Center at White Lake and mull two advisory board appointments for the Bay Tree Lake Fire District Committee; consider approving the Bladen County Schools Capital Outlay Requests for 2015-16; and consider approving an agreement with the Piedmont-Triad Regional Council regarding a compensation study.
