HOPE MILLS – East Bladen seniors Jacob Caulder and Sabara McLean both ran in the Creek Run Invitational cross country meet Saturday at Gray’s Creek High School.
Caulder finished in 52nd place with a time of 23 minutes, 24.27 seconds in the 5k boys’ race that had 101 runners. McLean placed 39th with a time of 29 minutes, 15.13 seconds in the girls’ race that featured 76 participants.
Sophomore Corbin Weeks of Union Pines won the boys’ race with a time of 16:08.63. West Johnston senior Kati Giangreco took the girls’ race with a time of 21:14.01.
