Bladen County’s Kayla Thompson is in California attempting to qualify for two professional golf tours.
She will be teeing off the first tee Monday, August 28 at 7:40 a.m. PDT on the Mission Hills, Dinah Shore Course. The qualifying school will allow those who qualify to play the LPGA or the Epson Tour.
Playing with Thompson is Doveon Park of Korea and Naramol Nuchsilla, an amateur from Thailand.
Thompson lives in Clarkton and graduated from West Bladen High School.
